June 29, 2008 -- "Anticipating Adoption" - Romans 8:18-30 - Pastor Tim
A pesky question for Christians: How do I know for sure that I've been saved?
Romans 8: Where you find assurance of salvation.
8:5-13 in particular: living to the Spirit and not to the flesh. "My life has been changed in ways only explainable by God's indwelling presence."
6:14-: Who's our daddy? The Spirit of God's Son lives in us.
BUT, there's a often-overlooked condition in verse 17: "if we suffer with Him." Believers will suffer as Jesus suffered; this is very different from the typical perception of Christianity.
Two expectations of a Christian: 1. eternal life with God; 2. Suffering.

Outline:
1. 一切_____________一同嘆息，如同經歷產痛：
     A. 我們等候被_____________成為兒子，並且
     B. __________ 脫離虛空。
2. 我們心裡也嘆息，迫切等候被___________，等候身體得到 ________。
3. 我們在盼望與殷切等候中___________。
